What Good Grills Use

What Makes Them Strong

01 — SS316 or SS304

Steel Cable

The cable does the work. Near the sea, ask for AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel; its molybdenum resists rust in humid, salty air. SS304 suits most inland homes.

02 — Nylon-12

Nylon Coating

Each cable has a clear Nylon-12 coating. Cheap PVC cracks in strong sun; a good UV-stabilised nylon coating stays smooth and protects the steel.

03 — Track and Locks

Aluminium Track

Cables must stay straight and tight to stay almost invisible. A good track is extruded aluminium with a tension lock for every cable, fixed firmly into the slab.

04 — For Safety Nets

HDPE Net

For safety nets, ask for virgin HDPE with UV stabilisers and a double-knotted mesh. It takes a knock without the strands slipping and lasts in the sun.
